JACKIE VAN ARSDALE, MA, NCC, RD, LDN

Jackie earned her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics at Messiah College and completed her dietetic internship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.  She decided early in her career that her mission as a dietitian would be to help clients develop a positive relationship with food and their bodies.  Recognizing that emotions and food are intricately intertwined, Jackie went back to school to earn her M.A. in Counseling and is now also a National Board-Certified Counselor.

Jackie especially enjoys working with clients who struggle with emotional eating and disordered eating.  She also has experience with sports nutrition, diabetes, and the nutrition challenges faced by clients with various mental health struggles.

Jackie believes it is worth the effort to learn to trust our bodies and that we were meant to truly and fully enjoy the food we eat.  She gets excited about helping clients feel at home in their own skin.

When not working, Jackie can usually be found outside with her dog, Kenya, exploring the woods or mountains, or just taking in the beauty of a sunset on the farm.
