Shannon Leaman, RDN

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Shannon earned her B.S. in Nutrition through West Chester University and her M.S. in Human Nutrition at the University of Alabama.  Shannon has a strong clinical background in GI, cardiology, oncology, and diabetes concerns from her years of work in the hospital and long term care settings. However, Shannon's personal and professional passion lies in intuitive eating and helping women, children, and families live nourishing lives.

Nutrition is vital during the fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum stages.  However, nutrition information is presented everywhere.  It can feel overwhelming to weed out the misinformation and know what will be honoring to your body.  Instead of letting fear set in, Shannon would love to guide you with nutrition science to build a loving relationship with your body and food to manage nausea, cravings, body changes, blood sugar levels, energy levels, are more.

She also enjoys working with families to manage mealtime struggles, food acceptance, and baby-led weaning! She knows the struggle it can be to feed your little ones and yourself.

The same principles she will share with you, she shares with her husband and two daughters.  You can trust your body, your instincts, and have peace with food.  If you are interested in building an intuitive relationship with your body and food that you can pass along to your family, Shannon would love to work with you!

When Shannon is not seeing clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters playing at the playground, and going for hikes or bike rides. She enjoys making fun treats and meals for her family and exploring new ice cream stops!
